Genuine all-rounder who joined the club for the 2007 season, Previously played for Shenfield, he is a stroke-playing middle order batsman and quite brisk medium pacer. Has so far proved to be an athletic fieldsman and is also apparently quite a capable wicket-keeper. Looks to be a quality acquisition although incontinence problems may hamper his fielding.

Jack Osbourne (RHB/RF/LB/OB/LAC/WK)

A truly versatile all-rounder who could well prove to be the find of the decade! Came to Abberton via e-mail having gained valuable experienece touring Australia. An opening batsman whose talent in this department is still well concealed after having been bowled by each of the first four deliveries he received in the nets. Can bowl almost anything with either arm and impressed prospective colleagues with his extensive knowledge of the game. A wicket keeper of near test class.

Talented fourteen-year-old emerging from colts cricket. A stylish, shot-playing batsman and (he claims) a leg spin bowler although it is rumoured that he gives the ball so much air that he is unable to bowl in the nets.
