Joined Abberton in 2007 having previously played for Copford and St Osyth. This hard hitting batsman can perform anywhere in the batting order but would dispute that his style with the willow is agricultural. Wicket-keeper with an unenvialble injury record.

Ryan Brown (RHB/RM)

Stylish young early order batsman witch a very promising career ahead of him. Bowls right arm medium pace and is able to deputise behind the stumps in times of need. A quick fieldsman (well, he should be at his age) with a decent arm although he looks inclined to doze off if not captained carefully. Wears very silly trousers and sports very large ear studs. Has the attentiuon span of a goldfish.

Kevin Pegrum (RHB)

2007 season was severely limited due to a freak snowboarding accident. Darling of the Thursday Blossom Hill Brigade, he has been known to perfrom on stage in local theatrical productions. Stylish middle order batsman and genuine non-bowler. Another to come to the club from the famous Fingringhoe Whalebones non-league outfit.

Helmut Käse (RHB/RFM)

Abberton's first signing under the 'Kolpak' agreement, this burly German will be joining the club during mid-summer once he has gained release from Drehknopf CC. A brutal hitter of the short ball in the lower order, he delivers a very lively pace off just four steps. A hamburger salesman from Frankfurt by trade (or is it a frankfurter salesman from Hamburg?), his main weakness is that he refuses to field anywhere but in the slips.
