SECOND XI SKIPPER IN TEARS AFTER SUPERBOWL THRASHING [21/06/08 04:48:06]
What started as a pleasant evening out at the local bowling alley generated into disaster and tears for second XI skipper Marc Fox after he suffered a humiliating thrashing at the hands of his wife and kids.
The ante-post favourite could only watch in horror as his children clearly contended with the inconvenience of being forced to use the 'bumper' lane and the ball ramp by their struggling parent who was repeatedly fustrated by his balls failing to reach their intended target.
Mummy was the only person to pass the century, obviously benefitting from her midweek waxing but the real shock was that Molly (front) comfortably beat her father into third place, and celebrated by sucking her lolly prize.
Interviewed after the event, Ella (left, holding the Fair Play trophy) confided in the website that "Daddy cheated. He kept nudging me when I was trying to lift that big, heavy ball on to the ramp. He also tripped me over twice".
Ella was however not bitter about being edged into last place and, after being consoled with a KitKat from Uncle Craig and a J20 from Uncle Ashley, added "Just wait until next year; that is if Daddy is brave ebough to take us bowling again after the stuffing Mummy gave him!".
A modest Dione attributed her success to a streamlining wax that she undertook earlier in the week and said simpy, "Girls on top, as usual". Daddy was unavailable for comment, simply glaring as he downed another Candian Club and Dry Ginger. What a poof's drink that is!!
Final SuperBowl scores: Dione 101, Molly 95, Marc 77, Ella 69.
