JUNIOR AIMING FOR KNOCKOUT [19/05/08 05:18:07]

Club Fixture Secretary Steve Whitfield is 'doing his bit' for charity on Sunday 25th May when he takes part in an 'Its A Knockout' competition at Colchester Rugby Club [the scene of my own recent knockout experience - Ed].

Junior will be part of a team entered by the Colchester United Supporters Association aiming to raise money for the town's St Helena Hospice.

Presumably he will not be selected for an throwing events as we all know that he performs like a very young schoolgirl in that department.

He is currently seeking sposnors and if anybody feels that they are able to help this very worthy cause then if they could add their name to sponsorship form in the clubhouse or alternatively ring Junior on 07870 665564. You never know, he might attempt something really dangerous!
