FUGITIVE FOX SOUGHT BY AUTHORITIES [16/03/08 09:51:33]

It is understood that Interpol are actively seeking John Fox after the Foreign Office asked for co-operation as it became clear that the fugitive had fled British shores.

Reported sightings in a number of bars and restaurants on the island of Tenerife came to nothing when local police scoured the area and failed to locate their target.

It is believed that Fox took flight after being commissioned to build a fence on the perimiter of the ground aimed at keeping the Johnson hoardes from using neighbouring fields as access to The Brow.

Although the larch lap construction was completed on time, there were several questions raised regarding the budgetray aspects of the arrangement and when the recent winds completely destroyed the new boundary, the search for Fox began.

Head of Security John Stockbridge (68) was quick state the case for the prosecution. "F***ing typical" he raged. "The b***ard has f***ed off to Tenerife and left a job half done. He will have me to deal with when he shows his face round here again".

Treasurer John Everett was left counting the costs of yet another financial disaster for the club and again threatened to resign. Secretary Ray Clay said he was "disappointed" with the situation.
