There is a growing rumour in Abberton and its surrounding villages that second eleven all-rounder and darling of the 'Blossom Hill' set Kevin Pegrum (pictured right) has traded in his bat and pads for a pink tutu and a pair of wings in order that he may take a starring role in the Bolshoi Ballet's upcoming production of 'Swan Lake'.

A terrible loss for both ADCC and the Whalebone CC but a prize capture for the world of ballet if his stirringly athletic performance in Fingringhoe's village hall on Saturday night is anything to go by!
