CENTURIES FOR ABBERTON DUO [10/06/07 07:07:23]

Two Abberton players recorded centuries in Saturday's TCL wins. Seth Effriken Kemsley Robb (left) hit a a masterful 103 not out as the 1st XI easily chased down their target of 207 at Elmstead Grasshoppers, his forurteenth career ton. The seconds were indebted to Paul Johnson (right) who clubbed 111 as Abberton beat Nacton by 23 runs in Division Seven. This included a three run with Marc Fox! Full match reports will appear later.

Postscript

I am led to believe that this is the first instance of two ADCC members scoring a century on the same day since 14th August 1998, when Ray Clay smoked 100 cigarettes and Snoz had 50 club doubles during a 2nd XI game at home with Copford. Can anyone else think of another example?
